Wow. EU steals 10% of bank deposits in exchange for bailout

    Russia today is very similiar to the USA in late 19th century. The " Robber Barons " loaded up their personal fortunes without much regard for their workers. The Rockerfellers, Gettys etc aren't what they were but still rich.

    Who cares about labels?
    In saying that Russia is capitalist and the US is communist - you only manage to make communism look so much better.
    I'd strongly advise against using Russia as any sort of positive example.

    This has set the bar at a new low and likely to be copied.

    Notice how they pick on the little guys first. That money was guaranteed safe.

  9. Ditto. We don't have true capitalism in the USA... Years ago we had it, but around the time of T. Roosevelt we started down the road to "State-ism" and one of its several forms.
