Some people have no clue about the history of the US. The Department of the Army and the Department of the Navy were kept separate precisely to prevent a military coup. Any head of one branch of the military has to convince all the other heads of military branches to join him in a coup. Good luck with that fairytale. :p

I've lived in a country under military rule. And believe me, you don't want to even think about it.

  4. I sure hope so. However Americans are far too uneducated and comfortable.

History had "Hitlers Brownshirts" in power very rapidly.

I hope and pray that Americans challenge the idea and balk at the inception ...

It will be portrayed in the best interest of "National Security."

Rahm Emanuels "The Plan" ... might be pushed ... or strategically implemented as "taken Advantage of" and it might actually be made to work by creating growth in employ and GDP.

  6. "No one seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it.
Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a
dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes
the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship."

  10. Well said. Mostly.
Except for the part of the revolution.

    Remember the colonies had a
    revolution against the British Empire.
