  1. Would you rather trade alone or in a group of friends with joint capital?

I know we had a similar thread last year. But we now in a new year, with new members on ET, new experiences, new expectations, new female traders :D

So common lets share our opinions and experiences, it should be fun!

    :D :D :D

    really great survey

question really is who is asking?,
why are you asking this question?
are you offering services either for remote traders, group traders (in an office) or are you just stirring things up?

    really?

  3. In a group with my own capital.

  4. No, I am not offering any services.

The reason I am asking is because I was thinking of creating a group of friends to trade with, either with separate or joint account.
Just interested in hearing any experiences, good and bad.
Pros and cons of trading in a group.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'd prefer to trade with a group of busty female porn stars.

  6. It might be very expensive. Are you sure you can afford that?

I was in a few groups and I owned an office for daytraders. I prefer to trade from home. So I can setup my charts after my kids go to sleep, wake up and be ready to trade in my underwear if need be.

However, if I were in a group where there were people who were really making dough that is the best. I remember when guys in the office thought making 4 gs in a day was good. Then someone would make 12 and that was the new number than someone made 24 in the afternoon after a dentist appointment. That really was a great enviornment because you extend your beliefs. But you need a good market and good traders for that.

Having a bunch a people bitching about the market and their executions and their software all day long is about as bad as it gets and I had that too.

In a small group of 2-3 people max.
If we support and take the stress off each other that's the best.
    Otherwise make no sense.
Each one trade his own acct.
