Don't you think there are things more important in life then positions and profits? :)

  7. I haven't read beyond the 1st page, but KEEP THE 60K, this is not the time or market to be getting started. And this market is only gonna go down hill from here.

  9. I don't think I saw a reply back from the starter of the thread?

Burtakus, very nicely put! One of the best post I've read on this board in terms of psychological motivation and reality.

I'm in almost the same situation as this guy in almost all regards. except for I work nights which allows me to keep my job and trade full time. My night job is a pretty lax job. I enjoy the work, love the people there, and its provides for a very decent paycheck. I don't foresee me quiting it, especially when I can trade full time and still work the job.

Been trading equities as a PDT(intraday or max hold of a week) since Feb. 03'. Enjoying every single bit of it....

    GOOD LUCK to all. :)

If you feel its the thing to do, do it, you can always go back to the rat race later on.

    Best of luck,
