Here's a comfy looking chair for 7k. I guess it's more art than chair, a copy would cost a fraction. http://www.dwr.com/living-lounge-chairs/eames-lounge-chair-and-ottoman/5667.html?lang=en_US Oh wait this is a reproduction...
Or this coffee table for 45k https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/t...ble-model-52-herman-miller-1944/id-f_2097112/
It’s amazing how stupid people can be with money That coffee table looks like it came from a garage sale. SMH
This came from a flea market for $7 bux. You could have offed $5 and the seller turned ya down. How stupid would you feel after coming across the news. Stupid is as stupid does...
That looks like a table we used for coloring books back in Kindergarten in the 70’s. If someone famous spilled their Elmer’s glue on the counter it would probably be worth 90k!
If I had that kind of money to drop on a chair I may buy furniture in that price range, but not that particular one. I don't find it very aesthetic.
I'm alway searching for vintage iconic furniture design. Found a B&B Italia sofa from the 80's for a fraction of what they sell for because of stitching, plus they were relocating to winward. Fixed in 2 hours. The trend is mid century modern, now it's over priced. IMO postmodern from the 70-80's is up and coming.
