Would we have consciousness without senses?

  1. I think the MIND would evolve to a greater degree without the interference of the senses.
    The Mind is separate from the brain.

    Blind people can hear better than the average person and even people in a coma can hear everything that is going on in the room.

    I think that if someone was born without senses, then the Mind would develop its sixth sense much easier than the average person with all their advantages.

    I don't think it would help the person cope with society any better but I think that they would have other qualities the average person would not possess.

    Although, I am quite happy with being able to see, hear and taste.
