Would this card work for quad monitor setup?

Anybody with experience with it?

Also, I am aware of the nvidia quadro reviews here. But if I wanted to go cheaper option, could I put 2 dual monitor cards (pci slots) side by side to achieve 4 monitor display? In theory it would seem yes but I am just checking.

Probably. That's how it's supposed to work.

 

make sure u have enough power and the right connections for that card.

 

Make sure your motherboard can run 2 video cards simultaneously if you want to run 2x cards but it does work using the right motherboard.

 

That card looks loud with the two fans. I would get two cards with dual outputs and no fans.
