  1. GoingLite - should i keep learning CCI - im a bit confused because buffy doesnt like it and - I am not sure if you still use it. If i stop learning CCI - i am finding learning anything else very challenging. Woodies CCI is very structured and easy to understand - How do i begin to learn what is necessary

  2. By all means learn the CCI.

To make it in trading, you will need to spend less time listening to others, and more time listening to yourself.

You will have to learn to think for yourself.

The very best system is the one you create.

Here's something I posted a while back that may help:

"Don't get "stuck" in a box.

Don't let "conventional" wisdom stop you.

Take that, which "doesn't" work, and "make" it work.

Picking tops and bottoms doesn't work? Make it work.

Trading with the trend doesn't work? Make it work.

Price Action doesn't work? Make it work.

Indicators don't work? Make them work.

    Not Creative? Get Creative.

Laziness is the "enemy" of creativity.

Have a "burning desire" to get better.

Work hard enough, long enough, and you will "become" creative.

There's one "word" that you will face everyday until you become successful.

    That "word" is called "discouragement".

And how you deal with that "word", will determine whether you "win" or "lose"."

  3. It is simpler than you have ever percieved. Emulate a future's contract with the corresponding options instruments and use the offset between the option-emulated contract and the actual futures contract to identify which LAGGING contract to trade... The offset will tell you exactly how arbitraging is setting the immediate direction of trading. To get ahead of both indicators you need to use the realtime LIQUID yield curve which gives the immediate value of where any futures contract is projected to be within the upcoming moments. It is exactly like the dogs who chase the bunny rabbit around the track. All participants are running in the same direction and give the appearance of lagging one another. However, one thoroughbred is the clear leader. What isn't percievable for most traders is the FACT that THE dogs are in fact chasing a rabbit. Most traders never get to the point of understanding that the rabbit exists. Imagine being able to follow the rabbit in trading in realtime... You can google all of the above outside of the ET forum to figure it out...
