Supercapitalist. Ouch. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1734586/ I can understand the message, but Oh My God, it is soooo bad. Especially the guy trying to be Michael Douglas.
Wall St 2- Not a single positive thing to say about that piece of crap. Margin Call- not awful, but could have been so much better. I expected more with that cast.
Legitimate films? WS2, Margin Call. No detail on WS2 as it was too insipid to discuss. Margin Call... you wake up one day and one fucking guy realizes there's a prob with Li's copula! Carry over the 2.... oh shit. Sell the certificates! The story was laughable, but the cast was fantastic. They could've done so much with a real script. Paul Bettany was excellent. I love the scene where everything is going to shit at 2am and he's asking why there are so many onions or sprouts in his Chinese. The dialogue unrelated (to the impending crash) was the only dialogue worth hearing. The aforementioned; the rooftop discussion of his spending habits, etc.
Supercapitalist was like some high school movie project, at least felt that way. Chinese viewers said it's probably because the writer/actor is the kid of some new-rich Chinese billionaire. Wall Street 2 was garbage, had such a big budget but couldn't make anything happen. Margin Call wasn't bad but I for one don't remember anything about it, not one memorable scene in it. The original Wall Street and Rogue Trader are the best trading movies, even Limitless and Glengarry Glen Ross are good despite them not being about trading.
Ok, I'll admit I have no life in late December in Wisconsin. But are there any other bad Wall Street movies I can watch. And I've already seen "assault on wall street" Not recommended.
