I've heard that STOPS help in these situations. As for Coffee - I stopped drinking it...... too bad cause I love it. .......( but then I love a lot of things that are bad for me - enuf said ). My energy levels are easier to live with. I don't get that rush - but I don't get that drop off either. I rarely miss it anymore. I've seen studies that show that 1 cup of Coffee has a negative affect on the body that lasts for two days. I found it true for me. Moderation in all things - Especially Moderation !!!!! ...... so I sneak one now and then !
A couple of years ago, they reported of a french bond trader who also fell asleep at his trading desk. Unfortunately, his head fell upon the keyboard, and he initiated short sales in french government bonds for a billion euros or so. Merde!
Coffee is harmless. Many say coffee actually is good for you. I asked my Dr if 12 + cups a day sitting in front of a computer is harmful. He said sure it is unless you do some exercise and do not keep muscles toned, as for coffee he said drink up. moral: as stated by others USE STOPS, there is no surer sign of moving from the armature ranks to the big leagues than when upon getting filled you AUTOMATICALLY place a STOP order. Then get up refresh the coffee cup and do some exercise.. ..
