Only 2 million votes out of 125 million was the difference.
Had 2 million votes among 8 states went to McCain he would have won.

  2. The popular vote means nothing.(Bush loss the popular vote in 2000).

I wish elections were decided by the popular vote,I would trade in the Obama presidency for Gore to have won in 2000

Presidents are elected by the Electoral college.Bush won by 5 Electoral votes in 2000,35 in 2004,Obama won by 192

    PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Had 2 million total votes from 8 states gone the other way, McCain would have won the electoral vote.

    Only a 1.5% difference.

  4. Which is to say Obama has virtually no room for error. And when the swing vote sees a negative return on their investment...

  6. BTW,I see the game you're trying to play.I wont play long but I'll give you an example of how it can be played both ways

McCain only beat Obama by 3,903 votes in Missouri, just 3,904 more votes would have given Obama 11 more electoral votes

McCain only beat Obama by 200,000 votes in Arizona,McCain's home State.Obama beat McCain by over 1.7 million votes in his home State.Just 205,000 more votes and Obama would have beat McCain in his own State

McCain only beat Obama by 70,000 votes in Alaska(And Alaska's biggest newspaper endorsed Obama)

  9. The only reason McCain lost to Osama is because he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate.

  10. That's pretty funny.
    The only reason . . .:D
If anything, she galvanized the conservative base, but failed to attract the independents.

Out of ALL the formidable candidates that McCain could have chosen from, he picked Palin.

I'd say that your so-called "only reason" was a much bigger reflection on McCain and his political "gimmickry" than on who Sarah Palin was.

    Nice job John.
You were dumb enough to fall right into the hands of SNL . . . and you paid for it dearly.

Thanks for suiting up and playing.
    Bonehead.
