Obama is a protectionist at heart. He stated during the 2008 presidential campaign that he intended to renegotiate NAFTA.
This also caused major uproar in Canada. Mexico too I suspect. He seems to have backed off that rhetoric for now, though.
Bush did a great job with what he had to do. Carter was the last president to fuck up everything before that it was FDR. Obama has already fucked it all up. What ever the mainstream media says about the president is what most the fools here go on.

Unless you have some connections to big oil, the military defense complex, or other corporations (perhaps worked for Enron and got that big check before the fraud) I don't see how he made you better off. Think about how America was before Bush and after... think about the economy... think about the rise in terrorims... federal budget deficit... etc. Obama has been in office for several months and you can already judge him lol?
