  2. Don Bright told us:

"I am upgrading the website in January. I am not a fan of "bells and whistles" or slow downloads (and I know it is pretty basic, I do it myself). "

Now both you and Chartwiz have both told us that you do your web-site design and building yourselves. I am scratching my head in bewilderment. I have always believed that an essential component of business was to present the best image possible. To my mind that means using professionals to do things right.

The idea of prosperous business owners using their amateur web-design skills (and precious time) to present their product in a way that leads potential customers to find links that don't work or pages that have not been proof-read or well structured is really mind-boggling to me.

Not a flame, just something to think about and intended to be constructive if taken the right way.

We do not support automated trading for obvious reasons. System traders are welcome and like everyone else you will start small and be given bigger position size as you prove yourself.

Series 7 and 55 are required.

  4. duffer,

If you spent half the time minding YOUR own business as you do others, you might even scratch a dollar or two out of trading.

GET A LIFE! (and let us manage ours)

    Thank You.

    What's a "rogue trader"?

  6. Duffer;

Just because someone has their web design in-house doesn't mean they're doing it themselves?

Amazon is a bookseller. They do all design in house. Which means, you hire the professionals to work for you and only you.

When you get up to the big leagues, you bring web design in-house because it's crucial.

Keep scratching that head of yours. Maybe the answer will come next time....

  7. Believe it or not Protrader my comment really was intended to be constructive. I have run a business unit and I know that it pays for the leader of any business to concentrate on what he must personally do to make the business successful and pass on the less-challenging chores to those who are trained and qualified to do them as a living. They generally do a much better job much fatser and the money spent is a low cost relative to the value that the leader can add in more meaningful ways.

  8. If you are correct Pejman, my mistake was in taking Don's words literally. Perhaps you have a closer knowledge of his operation than I do and were therefore able to avoid this misinterpretation.

  9. duff,

Don't you think that Don already knows this, being the very successful businessman that he is? It's like you, a typical hamburger eating customer, trying to tell McDonald's how to run their ad campaign. LOL.

You;re better off looking for your next 20 cent scalp.

  10. An operation such as Bright, which requires compliance and constant updates to the site is going to be run by either an outsourced provider or by an internal web design and development team. This is true for all businesses in all sizes. Unless you're hosting a "come see my family pictures" site, or unless you have the experience to run HTML hosting, etc... then you're going to either outsource or bring developers in house
