  2. He did give people freedom and let people learn in the early years. I would not fight that point I heard he cleaned peoples debts at times too. Now he also had the highest cost on the street. I do remember Worldco asking for 5k to 10k in the final year. He did give you a chance to be great but you had to be great with his cost structure. Walters down fall was the market went to shit and his cost structure was not set up for small profitable trading. What makes Walter scrum to me is he took a lot of small trader’s money when he closed. Most of the guys there were not the big traders of the past they are dead and gone. If Walter is his great honorable guy why does he not pay them there money now? You said he is the king and made tons and tons of money and you say he only owes less then a million so why not pay it back. If everything you say is true isn’t his honor and self respect would that.

and their were huge traders their at the end ..........guys who stuck with him no matter what ......guys who chose to stay on the ship even though their were problems.......a lot of loyal guys....he wont forget that when the opportunity arises again and stocks start gaping 3 ...4 ....points........and in that enviorment their is only one guy to play with walter scott bruan....he gave guys 50 million dollar limits with no capital up...........just inagine the stress of that........what guts...m

i remember him saying .....the newest guy at the firm is its most important guy...because it was that guy who proparly handled would grow the firm ....make millions.....run a group of guys......no one feels that way now at any firm today........it was statements like that that made him fameous.....and made him money.....gave the firm real power.....m

comparing worldco to refco is like apples and oranges. walter never took anything .
the violations they were fined for are not very serious by any standard
