  1. I wish everyone success in the stock market. I am just making a point here-i feel bad for everyone who is going to lose money in this shutdown-especially my buddies at worldco and in teh indistry in general

it was a really fun thing to do, and i cant wait for the market to heat up again so we can all try and make some money again instead of being trapped in these tight ranges

  3. You cursed everybody here and then returned to normal civilized way of conversation like nothing happened. So, who is full of sh.. ?

All I know that Broadway trading was trying to recruit me two weeks before they closed the Manhattan office. I do not trust anybody and having my money deposited with my company I know that this is the part of the game.
It is disgusting when company knows that it is dead and yet tries to bring new people to steal their money.

Really? Did they fire a lot of traders recently? I know they had about 450 as of 2 or 3 months ago? No one wonder this ship is sinking. You can't support a company that size with only 300 traders.

less than 300 traders. used to trade there and know plenty of people there. no one knows the truth except mgmt.

people running the place are idiots. Before I begin bashing my old firm i should stop here. But there are so many funny stories I could type forever.

I count myself lucky for not having a lot of cap left although I want it back very much and will fight till the end to get it.

    This thread should pickup tomorrow.

Seems I quit at the right time. The industry is dead. Top 10% of traderso well. Rest are churning and burning. Was fun while it lasted. I will be back - just not for a while - and certainly not with Worldco. I can picture them being dragged away in cuffs ala "boiler room". If that place wasn't a boiler room I don't know what is.

Good luck to all those fighting for your Worldco capital. I am there with you. Peace!!

Whatever happened with that movie that Walter was going to make 3 years ago? It was going to be called "The Trade". And they were going to film it in the 110 Wall Street office on the 18th floor. He was so excited about it. He said that was his dream to make a movie about trading. And this was for real, they even had a crew come in and do some principal photography on the 18th floor. Of course then no one ever talked about it again. He even offered roles as extras to the traders there. Good stuff man.
