I don't like to get into potential legal issues. I refer all such things to my (very well qualified) Compliance Officer. She is available to all of our members, and those who are potential members that have filed U-4 applications with us. I can state that BT goes to great lengths to be sure that we comply with every trader issue, including the one you mentioned. I am not doing a "no comment" - but I don't want to risk making an unsure statement in a public forum (I'm sure you can appreciate that). FWIW, these issues have been addressed in the past. Don
Thanks for your honesty. I can assume then that a simple "yes" or "no" would be an "unsure" (your word) answer?
LOL yeah sure. I've heard about their great commissions. Great way to churn away your cap in a couple of months.
would the experienced trader churn away his capital? perhaps you aren't as experienced as you let on.....lol
I think my post was geared toward new traders that start with Worldco every day. I think you should take note of it, since you plan to go to Worldco and you have zero experience.
Actually, no, Chris Watts cannot do that here. If you want that information then Chris will have to privately PM you. This is not a forum to provide free advertising to WorldCo. Thanks. [LATER EDIT:] Judging by this thread it may be a moot point anyway: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=23183
Again, whenever Walter and the boys at Worldco would like to come onto the board and discuss this, rather than have one of their "traders" I'd be glad to oblige. (Not blown away, not now, not ever). It's just that we cater to the more serious traders, and those who want to run a business, not have a job)....Just a different business model. Until we can actually get some serious representation like we have from other firms (Echo=Chet Robinson, Assent = B.P. from VegasGeneric= David from ProActive, John from Redwood, Vito from Van Buren, etc., it makes little sense to discuss the current rates, markets, or anything else with the disgruntled minority. In all seriousness, Echo, Generic, and Assent, all have ET members who actually know what's going on in the business.....and it might be nice to have a chat/conference where we can discuss, debate, whatever in a civilized manner. I'll use my advertising money to cover the ET time and costs. But it is just plain silly to discuss serious business with those who are clueless about the inner workings of the trading business. This is not a put down, and I welcome open discussions, but meaningless mis-information does no one any good. Chet? Vito? B.P.? David? John? am I wrong here?? Let's have a chat, perhaps we can bring the level of discussion up a notch or two. Don (I'll put on my flak jacket now)..
