there are others who believe it wasn't ww2 that got us going again, but the wiping out of all the bad debts in the world that it caused. nothing flushes bankrupt loans to the forefront like a war and it is those bad loans that cripple the economic power as long as the exist. OP, i hope that you are wrong in your thinking that another WW is coming. I agree with some of the others that the baddest kids on the block sooner or later are going to have a fight (China, Russia, USA) but I hope that all of us have learned from our collective history and stop the idiots that get us into these situations What is starting to concern me more is that "Mother Nature" has started to increase the problems. Or at least it appears to me that there are more earthquakes, tsunamis, volcano eruptions, mudslides, hurricanes, tornadoes, lack of potable water, etc Have we reached a tipping point of people that can be sustained by this planet without dire consequences? Have we polluted the planet with our trash and it can't handle any more? Is Mother Nature rebelling? or is she just giving us a preview? CREDIT is the only thing that gets America going and right now, nobody wants to lend or borrow and the fellows with 15 credit cards are now ardent savers. Credit-WW3 started October 2007.
