Or they simply don't agree with your view of the world. I know this is ego damaging and appalling for you two to even consider, but your views of how the world should be, how everyone should behave and what everyone should believe in and consider important isn't the only correct path.

You clearly aren't on the correct path ( any of them ). My ego is quite fine understanding the US is a complete shit show right now and it has no bearing at all on my life. It is however amusing to see how butt hurt some of you overly proud Americans are when someone dares to point out the absurdities of your country at this time. I don't personally care if you care about my opinion on the matter.
