%% THAT is very satisfying work , solving clients problems, which any good business has to do.[NOT sure how complex the ''industry regs '' requirement is ??]
I can understand the rationale behind 3 years of trading experience. But did I pay over $100K for a bachelor's degree just to become a customer service representative?? And, even worse, did I work my ass off to get Series 7 as well as 63 just to become a customer service representative?? I have nothing against those who work as CS, but why would anyone with those requirements even bother to apply? Doesn't it sound downright degrading, or am I the only one?
Good experience for someone starting their career i think. Plus, you get to work and learn from Bob, so a win win. I actually think someone could learn a lot in customer service, if they took it seriously.
I do think college is a useless necessity though. Enjoyed the time away on my own, but I had a library card, could have learned the same at a local library for $1.50 in late fees .
