Work until you die?

They'll prise my mouse from my cold dead fingers. I'll still be trading when I am ninety if I can.

 

When it works for you, it suddenly changes, no longer working for you. Successful trading is never easy. Many losses come when hubris is at a high level.

 

If you aren't good enough to trade full time now what makes you think you will be in 5 years?

 

Not to mention the fact that the sec can change the rules whenever they want to.

 

If your not going to be supporting yourself trading for five years yet you havent earned the right to be a "one arrogant mo-fo" yet. Good luck.

 

Really, what is the purpose of this post?

 

Trading after a week vacation away from the computer is like working out after a week away from the gym. It hurts again.

Where's the heat rub...

 

After starting futures and blowing a small account, it took me a year to make a living at it. That was eight years ago. I may be arrogant but I wouldn't try that play with other people. They are always looking for a way to slap down others. Example: 80% of the posters on ET.

 

To stimulate conversation; nothing more.
