  2. Exactly! Studying Jack's teachings is always wise. And SCT goes far beyond these indicators. Jack wrote:

SCT usues a paradigm that is related to pool extraction and is effected by using three skill based approaches: effectiviness, efficiency and optimization. To do these kinds of things conventional platforms and screen displays are not possible.

  4. Exactly! Jack teaching (for those who can actually understand) are the closest thing possible to the word of god.

If you want to empty a lake, what will you do? Use a spoon? or go and build a giant pump? which will be more efficient? And if you are one of those detractors (watching us build the pump while bitching continuously) you can go fornicate yourself with a iron stick

  6. Was this about CCI or "Woodies CCI"?

Woodies CCI is a system of CCI patterns.
CCI is just an indicator - so when people say CCI works - of course! It is a calculation using historical prices as input (I never saw a CCI with a setting of "1"), so as long as there are enough reference bars, CCI calculates and "works".

But do Woodies CCI patterns (shapes and forms the CCI takes that he qualifies and uses to enter trades) give a statistical edge?

The "Famir" looks like a failed ZLR. But if you have another named pattern for every pattern that fails, doesn't that pretty much guarantee that you will be able to say one of them worked?

  7. Exactly, for every failed pattern they just kept coming up with another name.. the triple lindy shamu with a half pike twist :p

It will depend on the market and your goals. I personally use 144 volume chart for DAX. CCI setting is standard - 14.

    I do not trade divergences.
