    The previously given link also mentioned our good friend, Don Johnson, who took down 3 casinos for 4-5 million this year, causing the first losing month in black jack for the casinos:

    He spent 271K that night on drinks, including the biggest champagne bottle specially made for the club:

    Don knows how to party.... I bet he isn't afraid that his black jack system will lose its edge...

    This guy is impressive. How does he win like that without getting tossed out? If I start winning they immedietely start shuffling up every few hands or simply throw me out if I vary my bets too much. How the hell does he do it?

    You can play perfect table-based blackjack but you will lose in the long-run if you aren't counting. So how does he count with the shoe being reshuffled every 4 hands?

    I am just guessing but probably:

    1. He had wild volatility while playing and was down several times, so the casinos thought he would eventually lose.

    2. He had previous big losses, so the casinos felt safe to let him play...

  5. They tried to kick a trainer out of NY horse racing on suspicion of cheating with drugs.

    He fought it , got a stay , and now he's batting 50% winners out of 28 starters at the meet, an enormous %.

    Sometimes they cant stop you. Ask the hft scum how they get away with it.

  6. I think these days it's related to rebates the casino gives you, don't remember why they'd give you these rebates, but there you do.

    We actually discussed Don Johnson in a separate thread. The rebates are a trick to get players and any rebate advantage disappears after a certain (low) number of hands. The casinos make sure that the players play at least that many hands.

    In short, no rebate helps black jack players in the long run...

    Thanks ,Pe.
    George Burns burned cigars all his life;
    but since he lived to 95+/ or so, wonder if that means burning/breathing cigar smoke is a key to long life???

    That may still be a great '' system'' for sure a fun read;
    unless all the retailers stop agreeing to exchange unused lottery tickets.....................................................

    Some retail US stores have a''restocking fee'';
    some do not, at this time.LOL

    A young priest talks to an atheist and asks: “A woman falls from the 3rd floor balcony and walks away with just a few scrathes. Isn’t it a miracle?”
    The atheist replies: “No, it’s just a fluke”
    The priest says: - “Alright, what if the same woman falls from the same balcony again and walks away alive again? Is it not a miracle?”
    Atheist thinks a bit and says: - “No, it's just a coincidence”
    “Well”, priest replies, “What if it happens the third time and the woman still walks away unharmed? It is definitely a miracle then, right?”
    Atheist says: - “No, that’s just a habit!”

    Or, if it walks like a duck, it just might be a duck.

    The 3 HF guys who won 245 mill recently (and posted about in a separate thread):

    This is how real, happy winners look like. Or not. The story was fishy from the beginning ("they" bought 1 ticket), because you need 3 rich guys to buy 1 ticket, right.

    Sure enough later it came out that they are just fronting for someone else.

    If it walks like a duck....

    P.S.: Since each guy must have paid 33 cents, I wonder which one put up the extra penny making it 1 dollar??
