    So transparent too...

Idiots, falling right into the right's hands. They'll somehow convince themselves that there's a moral equivalency between what Franken and Moore are accused of doing.

Franken may be ousted, Moore may be elected, and the imbalance in the senate for tax cuts starts tilting in their opponents' favor. Total amateurs.

  4. So some sexual is conduct is okay? Got it. Conyers guilty of much more than Franken, and as a sitting congressman. What about him?

Just to be clear on my opinion on Moore and Franken.

IMO opinion the number and level of the allegations (including one involving an underage girl) against Moore should disqualify him from serving in the Senate. At this point the allegations appear for the most part to be believable and backed by appropriate factual details. The reality is that the voters in Alabama will make decision in December regarding his future in the Senate.

IMO the two allegations against Al Franken amount to little. The photo of Franken with Lee Tweeden is distasteful but does not amount to offensive sexual conduct. Especially in context of all the photos or Lee Tweeden doing worse to others (Robin Williams, etc.) -- it is hard to make the case that she should be personally outraged by the photo IMO (except for political purposes). The second allegation regarding Franken in a photo op does not seem to have compelling evidence proving the assertion that he squeezed the woman's rear. I reserve the right to change my opinion if more evidence or examples of this behavior come out regarding Franken. At this point, I don't believe the Senate should take any ethics action against Franken.

It’s a difficult political environment for sure. On one hand you have the people like Franken who have engaged in low level sexual harassment and a guy like Moore who is accused of some nasty stuff with minors. Obviously, Moore cannot accept responsibility and stay in the race, his accusations range from criminal to perverted but not just merely inappropriate.

The point is many on the right, like Moore and Trump have no choice but to deny because of th severity and creates a situation where the deniers can be rewarded and the ones that take responsibility are punished. That’s a tough situation.

I think your analysis is spot on, only I think Franken should end up with a censure for his actions.
