The guy used to run an index vol desk at a large bank and blew up big time. So he's a real deal and, to be honest, most of these stories I've seen too (though never participated).

Just saw the movie and thought it was great. I got into the securities industry back in 1996 and heard many of the stories from earlier days, but only got to see a small amount of the hookers, strippers and crazed druggies. The movie was a look into the world that existed at that time, and even though it was long, I thought that it was very entertaining.
