strange that this is not talked about more. Yea, prob half of all FB user IDs outside of the US are either fake or not currently in regular use. Especially the new user additions each quarter...I believe these are 75% fake (either internally created or created by real people after a barrage of of overseas advertising then never used again) Problem is there are just a few main stream places for advertisers to run online and especially mobile ads (google and FB to name 2) and they have no choice but to believe the user numbers out of FB question is do these ads result in higher sales? probably not at all but the ceo of these firms are barking at the ad departments to place ads somewhere in hopes of higher sales. Thats what these people do all day in large corporations, sit at desks on the phone trying to throw money at problems and going through the motions of their job description...very antiquated process to say the least and their products are even more antiquated: McDonald's, Coke, Budweiser, Lipitor, Viagra, NyQuil, pizza, car insurance, credit cards, walmart etc...
