Yeah that's true. Shorting stuff that everyone thinks will go broke is like 100% return if right, 100-200% loss if wrong. You need to be damn sure to make it worthwhile.

No question, shorting stuff earlier is better risk/reward - 20-30% risk if wrong, 90%+ if right. The last $1 is always the most expensive :)

  5. If you have nothing better to do than make a fool of yourself in public, be my guest.

Not only did I cover at a nice profit, I said right here long ago that the play was done for now

Thats the problem with our schools today, they let illiterate scum graduate.

ps call was at 07-28-08 12:58 PM. Stock moved a little higher then dropped 8%.

Its called trading. Things change quickly, like your health.

  6. I also notice that when I get it right , and big time (most of the time) , almost no one ever comments.

This tells me all I need to know.

  7. You're pathetic.

You have a history of awful calls and stupid worthless threads and all of ET knows it.

Go back to the morning shift at Starbucks.

  8. from todays wsj. a lesson for the many imbeciles who infest this fine board.

To those who would criticize the shift, he turned to a famous utterance by economist John Maynard Keynes: “When the facts change, I change my mind – what do you do, sir?”
