Withdrawal from IB to Revolut

Discussion in 'Interactive Brokers' started by qaz, Mar 23, 2020.

  1. Withdrawing on a regular basis in EUR to Revolut EUR account as SEPA transfers. No problem.

Trying now to withdraw USD as wire transfer, and not able to do so. IB ask for corresponding bank info, I provide BARCGB22 (got from revolut support), but it is not accepted by IB. Anyone else solved this?

Im based in Europe so for low fee USD withdrawals I dont have many options..

  2. I am also in Europe and unable to withdraw USD from IBKR to my Revolut account. No problem with EUR but it is a SEPA transfer, not SWIFT. Does anybody know for sure it is possible at all?

I do not want to use my local bank account as I have to do a lot of paperwork for everything above USD 3000. No such issues with Revolut.

  3. You cant withdraw USD to your Revolut account. If you look on your account number the number is the same for EUR and USD or for otther currencies except GBP becose for GBP you have sort code and you can pay or received money in GBP. You can receive payments only in EUR and GBP

I use www.citibank.co.uk and www.barclays.co.uk for USD withdrawals from IB to a dollar bank account. Citibank give you a dollar debit card, Barclays do not. You can also have other currency accounts at Citibank such as EUR or GBP and use the same debit card as you switch online which account is active.
