Withdraw money directly from IB to other broker or crypto exchange

Is it possible to withdraw money from IB to other broker or crypto exchange where I also have an account? Or do I have to first withdraw to my bank account and then transfer to my account at other broker or crypto exchange?

 

Yes you can withdraw to another broker as long as the account is in the same name.

what, no you don't, it's called an ACAT transfer and it's free and also even takes care of positions.

 

They told me you could not do a third party withdrawal to a crypto exchange.
