Bah, I have done cnet research already and I love how they have everything connected in the interactive function to the right of the article usually. I would never rely on cnet for technical information though, maybe quick tech news but nothing more. However, zonealarm is a good free program but avg even as free sucks. If you truly want to ensure you have a good virus program, just spend $20 dollars a year and get BitDefender, it is in the top three in protection for viruses. I think most smart IT, have already made the switch to unix/linux or are in the process. Plus, with defender spyware out, and microsoft trying to block the kernal from virus programs, is just a prelude to how microsoft is attempting to launch their own free microsoft virus program to be integrated in defender for the future. As for AVG, I suggets you go with bitdefender. Peace
Windows defender is not good, won't even update the definitions correctly on XP pro even after the regisrty edits. They need to fix it first, before any other stocks have to worry.
