right - you just confirmed my previous post.

like I said - test ride the Trump train for a few weeks, everything in the world will actually start to make sense, you will feel more connected, and your trading account will thank you too!

  3. Just because we can't find him guilty doesn't mean he's innocent is the leftist theme today. Kim has a spot for them in North Korea using that logic. Let's take the presumption of innocence and turn it upside down. What can possibly go wrong with that line of thought? The party of intellectuals?:banghead:

  4. Mueller is trying not to color outside the lines. You, on the other hand, can't seem to read between them, and are bending over backwards defending a cheat and a fraud. I hope it's worth it.

  5. Yup. The lefty chant is that Mueller did not exonerate Trump.

But oh by the way, no person in America has ever been exonerated by a judge, jury, or prosecutor. "Exoneration" is not a legal finding in American law. You are either guilty, not guilty, or some kind of dismissal.

Nice try. Assuming that I am reading the section that you are referencing, Mueller's response is correct, however, he wan't asked if a President can pardon themselves. There is a debate about it, however, based on the Nixon pre-emptive pardon precedent, a president can be pardoned for any crimes that have been committed.

Besides there is always an easy loophole, “A different approach to the pardoning problem could be taken under Section 3 of the Twenty-Fifth Amendment. If the President declared that he was temporarily unable to perform the duties of his office, the Vice President would become Acting President and as such he could pardon the President. Thereafter the President could either resign or resume the duties of his office,” Lawton said.
