With 500 million in assets why did Epstein return to the US from a recent trip to Paris?

He must have known that he was under investigation.

 

Ego is the only explanation, he thought he was untouchable.

 

Why do most men do really stupid things? Some precious little filly somewhere, of course.

 

There may have been more than ego involved. He basically skated on the earlier charges in Florida, perhaps because of high level intervention. He probably thought he had protection, either from the Deep State or a foreign benefactor that is used to getting its way in DC.
