Can we compare these scary numbers from Merrill during a recession to during a boom using the same calculations? During good times, I have taken months of my retirement while I was young enough to enjoy it. I was not employed full or part time, not looking for work, not collecting unemployment. I know there are others who have done as I did, but I have no idea how many.
