It was good until about 1:50 in, when it started to sound like a supercharged game-show theme from the 70s. I prefer the whiter noise of aircraft flights to that stuff. Heh

    Here we disagree.

He knows exactly what he's doing. And he knows the mental capacity of his base.

It inspired these tunes a fair bit I'm certain, release in 1968. The original version has that weird tangent that is obviously for sports shows. Still, one of the classics guitarists know and my hands have forgotten.

Edit : "Classical Gas has been used as the theme music for Granada Television's watchdog broadcast "This is your right" running from 1972 to 1986"/

Clapton cover omits the sports show tangent.

    If you're correct...

That would then imply he's more sadistic / dark than I thought.

Ahh, you play? Mmmm. If you could belt out a rendition of Asturias like Ana Ridovic and show it here, I believe many here would appreciate it. I would. (It would provide a bit more variety over KCalhoun's sax playing, hehe.)

I've believed that about you for a while now. The following is premised on you being 'a believer.' If you aren't, please disregard.

You seem to be a God fearing man. A very merciful man. A kind hearted man. All very good qualities.

But you don't seem to acknowledge that that same God is responsible for killing many many many men, women, and children; and sanctioning even more killings to be carried out by mortals or angelic beings.

    Cruel? No. Justice? Yes.

Everyone doesn't have the gift of discernment. Some can smell a scam, or BS immediately; others can't.

That's very deep and close to spot on.

I'm 4th generation Catholic although my ancestors (first two generations)....Catholicism was forced upon them.

I forgot to mention the following...

A Wisconsin supreme court judge decried Trump’s lawsuit aiming to nullify the votes of 200,000 Americans, saying it “smacked of racism”.

Yep, I could play the opening of that. Studied on classical as my hands were too big for steel.

Currently learning Turina's Ráfaga, Op.53, a bit easier as it was composed by a pianist :)

Speaking of music, came to mind.. Kick him in the balls for real Joe.

"Even in elementary school, I was a very assertive, aggressive kid. In the second grade I actually gave a teacher a black eye - I punched my music teacher because I didn't think he knew anything about music and I almost got expelled. I'm not proud of that, but it's clear evidence that even early on I had a tendency to stand up and make my opinions known in a very forceful way."
