I have to travel for my job constantly. I have been straddled with a dial-up ISP for almost a year and been forced to trade off of a web-based platform for quite sometime. After searching for months for an alternative, I found, much to my dismay, wireless broadband connections provided by the cellphone services to be impressively fast; damn near as fast as cable while you are close to metro areas. My only concern is security. Does anyone here have any experience/knowledge about this service? How secure is the connection?
Make sure your broker offers an SSL connection to encrypt and help secure your information. Also make sure you have a firewall. A hardware firewall would be best, but software is better than nothing.
