  1. Thanks, I did not know that. 72% would suggest they are not getting tired of him, he actually sounds quite popular.

There is an old expression "Russians need a czar". They are a people that want to be told what to do (politically speaking, of course). The more Putin antagonizes the west, particularly the U.S., the more popular he gets.

Russians, especially the old pensioners, look back on the days of communism with fondness. They were told what to do, always got paid (even if it was in worthless rubles), and the country was feared. Anything that can bring back that period of greatness is desired. Love for the fatherland (Rodina) is everything with them.

  5. Russians have a different understanding of Muslims than voters and politicians in the US. When the Russians had problems with Chechnya they just went with the idea of killing them all pretty muchly. They know that there isn't any other answer to Islam in the long run.

ISIS is a creation of Israel and the CIA. It's brilliant really, a huge, ongoing, obnoxious, false flag thingy that will cause the West, or Russia [and Israel doesn't care who really] to deal with their enemies in the ME for awhile. The current "White Imperialism is Bad" POTUS has Greenlit Russia to do whatever they want. Putin's best move is to go with their current allies Iran[Shia] and Syria[Shia] to destroy ISIS [Sunni/Israeli/US] and take over Iraq [Shias oppressed by Sunnis historically]. Motivating those allies would be a cinch, they hate Sunnis. Destroying ISIS might take two weeks and the march to Baghdad would be preceded by an air attack like none before. The Russians will not discriminate among women and children in Iraq anymore than they did in Chechnya and they won't let the UN dictate that they take month long breaks like Bush Jr did at Mosul LOL

So yeah, Winter could be coming for sure...

yep, those damn Russians and Moslems are always so predictable. They're all the same. Thankfully the world is being run by USA, and nobody, not even our own president knows what we might do.

    " Operation Atlantic Resolve.

(CNN)The U.S. military will be sending dozens of tanks, Bradley armored fighting vehicles and self-propelled howitzers to allied countries in the Baltics and Eastern Europe in response to Russian actions in the Ukraine, Defense Secretary Ash Carter said Tuesday.

The equipment, enough to arm one combat brigade, will be positioned in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Romania and Poland, Carter announced at a press conference with U.S. allies in Estonia...

...Participating in those exercises and rotations have been B-2 and B-52 bombers, F-15Cs and A-10 attack planes.

James said the F-22 Raptor, the Pentagon's premier fighter, could join that list.
