I don't get this compute stick. If I have to buy a keyboard, find a TV why don't I just buy a laptop instead? I could see the cheaper ones to be useful but the posted one is $485, and you can buy a decent laptop for that price... OK, I am not alone not getting this gizmo: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2480474,00.asp
Found an article last night from Gartner Group on Windows 10 in Forbes while searching for something odd about my Win 7 machine. Game, Set and Match. http://www.forbes.com/sites/adamhar...p-more-than-10-are-you-surprised-do-you-care/ No matter what a "experts" (defn: ex - has been and spurt - an annoying little drip under pressure) tell you Microsoft is in serious trouble IMO and will have to adjust (in the past I wrote about no good upgrade path) . I'll bet they are now so sorry they joined the internet spy game. Once trust is gone it is hard to buy it back. All we await now is for someone overseas to develop an ad-free and unhackable browser (extremely easy to do IMO) and make their millions. DARPA (defense research) created the first internet and the original 13 (?) Internic servers were hacked years ago along with subs and sea cables etc. To the surprise of one self-professed expert, I am a little sad. I supported my first PC in 1984. I had my first web database app running in 1997. Some of my opinions were requested by Gartner Group back then. Gates and Microsoft have done a lot of good for humanity.
Yes. Good point. I guess money doesn't motivate me quite as much anymore. I have grandkids now. The fellow who reportedly shot his neighbour (Norton something?) was going to do this but was silenced or stopped for some reason on an easy task. Perhaps he is doing it already.
