Intermittent problem of my rig automatically dialing my ISP on boot-up. I've looked around, but can't find the seemingly stuck switch. Suggestions, please?? TIA
Check the settings on every program that accesses the internet. One of them is set to automatically log you on to the net at startup. Could even be an auto-update feature of a non-internet type program. The best suggestion is to switch from dial-up to cable internet access. There is a world of difference not to mention a freed up phone line. wally
