This is similar to doing character-cell terminal emulation in Windows environment so the old COBOL programs can run forever...
I have 10 floppy's that have a program used previousely with XP. I now have W 7 Home. I was thinking I can have the floppy's put to disk...........but can I get the disk to play on W7 home? Thanks, Ron
Can't speak to the particular program. I don't have a floppy drive to verify with, but XP mode works with your W 7 drives as network share emulations. If you want to install from a floppy, I bet that it will work. If the program needs to run from the floppy (security key or something,) then I doubt it will work. Many programs work just fine under Windows 7 (better than Vista.) Main impediment is lack of 16-bit executable support. Probably best to Google about the particular program.
