Agreed there. What a great race though. From 20 links back going into the last quarter mile and this girl came from the back of the pack and pass all but one and lost only by a nose. Damn that was something. That's too bad. This country sure could have used a feel good story like that now.

Wow, that was as good as it gets. What a beautiful animal. Probably sat back too far too long. To be able to come back from that distance to nose it out for my money says that she still was the better horse.
Huge race for Zenyatta. Had trouble early on in the race getting her footing else she wins it. No question. Forget anything else you read, most commentary are by nitwits. Most wise guys thought she was overmatched going in, and they were, as expected by me, proven full of shit. And if you think that 6 inches changes anything about the greatness of the mare, then you don't get it. Greatest sport on earth, forget the rest.
