Will you stay with Cyber/Schwab if they only offer per trade pricing?

Noble Trading is what I came down too. Already have the account set to go. Just waiting to pull and fund, giving Cyber a little more time to realize the big mistake. Only thing bad about Noble is they don't have anything comparable to the CyberQuant screener, so I am still in the search for a screener without much luck. I am about to test TS's RadarScreen though hopefuly that does it.

The platform is pretty close. Try the demo like you said. I went with Omni Pro demo. I am pretty sure Pension is their big clearing firm just like Cyber currently. Also you can trade multiple vehicles all on one account unlike cyber. They have a ton of vehicle options too. Judging from your post before your pretty active at trading so call them and bargain your commish price. I was able to get a better price than Cyber offered me.

I will try the demo; I doubt that I could ever receive the great customer support that I have received from CT through the years.

Have you ever tried the Anvil trading platform?

Anvil? no. Noble's CS is supposed to be pretty good. Anytime I had questions they were right on it. I have'nt found any bad reviews on the yet. I amsure there have to be some, but my searches have resulted in Mostly positve.

We all know what it means when the broker does not confirm immediately when the trade is on, canceled, and etc. If the trade shows an immediate profit, the broke gets it. If the trade shows an immediate loss, the client gets it.

  7. Since we are only a couple of months from changeover, this seems to me to be a realistic request. Surely they can answer basic questions like these. It frightens me to think that maybe they haven't decided yet whether these are important enough to include.

I asked CT about the following and was told that they are not being told any of the following will take place:

    4. Can't short thru ECNs
    5. No notification of short share availability
    6. Can't cancel orders from trading window
    7. No combined level II book with INET, ARCA, NAS, NYSE, etc.
    9. Limited hours on orders placed in Pre and Post Market

  9. I was just reviewing the mailing from CT regarding the integration. Something to the effect that the Schwab platform does not offer all the venues CT users are used to but that it has smart routing capabilites. I interpret this to mean that it won't be a true direct access platform, that you will have the option of going through their MM or use the smart routing. How dumb do they think we are? Obviously , this is totally unacceptable to virtually every current Cyber customer.

I would have hoped we could have gotten this cleared up by now, since they obviously had this information for long enough to produce a printed flier and mail it to existing customers. So I would ask Cyber Rep if he is still around to address this issue urgently.

If the Schwab platform will not be a true direct access platform, how about stop diddling us around and spell it out? If we won't be able to short ETF's, like OIH, let us know now so we can make plans and negotiate deals elsewhere. Enough screwing us around.

I don't know what planet these morons are on, but if they wanted to alienate their existing customers to the max, they are succeeding brilliantly. The ironic thing is that every CT user has dozens of friends and family members who know they are a real trader and who will automatically go to them for advice on which broker to use. After this debacle, I doubt many will say use Schwab.

CyberTrader has handled this integration in the worst possible manner.

Left their loyal long time clients/customers out to dry; tight lipped about whats going to take place, which they already know is going to be garbage, yet wont divulge the details until the day is at hand; anything to keep those comms coming in; they know once its in place traders will be fleeing in droves.

After $500 million and YEARS for the integration to be fully in place, they finally roll out this mess.

I guess they are living up to part of their name; CyberTRADER....
