Will you stay with Cyber/Schwab if they only offer per trade pricing?

  1. Seaside,

If you have a list of deficiencies that I haven't begun to research, I would suggest you call our brokers and them address your list of items.

I can tell you that baskets and API trading will not make the conversion, but if you want specifics, I would recommend dealing with our live reps.

Our immediate goal is to address your routing issues by December/integration date.

    Loufah/AAA,

SSPro users will have access to many more than 3 charts---we will provide access to 20 charts at the time of the integration.

Again, there is what is provided NOW v. what will be provided when the integration is complete in December.
We will increase the number of charts and trading windows available.

    20 of each.

    Thanks,

they need time to see what the issues are !!! lol. you guys just told cyber trader what they were. street smart pro stinks and the executiions are horrible. they better offer ecn trading from 8 til 8 like other firms do. also what good are there features if the executions stink? believe me,they know the issues that are bothering former CT traders so why not just fix them! they make it seem like there's more to it and its very complex. bull shit, they can fix most the the issues in a week.

  3. CT Rep,

You don't want me to list additional concerns here? I thought you were here to address the integration subject for CT.

You didn't answer my question about whether CT knew of those 3 issues before my post. Could you answer that please?

    Thank You.

PS: Although you mentioned that your immediate goal is to address my routing issues by the December/integration date.,I think you'd agree that they're YOUR issues, and not mine. As is the non-real time Position information that you didn't mention. Your prior stated solution of adding up the fills from the message window is pretty weak as I think you'd agree. Example: Partial fills of 200, 118, 42, 183, 65. Quick. What is your Position? How many shares do you hold? Is that really the state of the art for 2007 trading platforms?

  4. Seaside,

Of course I'm here to address concerns, I just don't seem to answer them as quickly as you like. In an effort to get your questions answered quicker, you may be better served actually talking to a live rep. If you prefer that I address your 3 issues before you move on with more items, more power to you, just understand that I pass on information as I get it.

I would imagine someone at CT knew of these issues before your post. I unfortunately am not privy to the exchanges between CT and Sch executives, so it's speculation on my part.

My/Your/Our/Cyber/Schwab's routing issues are being worked on and should be ironed out at the time of integration.

I provided you a workaround and, admittedly, it's a weak workaround at that. I don't provide it as an absolute solution to the real-time position problem, just a way to determine if you're long 100 shares or 608 in the meantime.

    Thanks,

  5. You mean the trading window won't show your net position? Or is this the "positions" tab from the account detail window?

    Cyber trader-
tell "seaside" this, you guys realize that Street smart pro does'nt offer ecn's and trading from 8 to 8 est so you are going to quickly incorporate that into your system. how hard is that ! it would take your soiftware engineers a week to do it and saying it takes time bla bla bla is a cop out and a bunch of bs; just do it. how good could a trading platform be without direct access/ecn's? horrible that what it would be and the street smart pro routing goes through a market maker and the executions are a joke. any street smart trader who daytrades;thats basically waht street smart pro is for, active traders, will get killed against guys like me who use assent.

With this integration, Cybertrader is aligning itself with firms like scottrade, TD Ameritrade etc. Not a good omen for the trading fraternity. Keep in mind that they have UBSS, probably the most active MM in Nasdaq stocks and they also have MMs for NYSE stocks. Not a healthy environment at all from the daytrader's and swing trader's point of view.

CyberTrader Rep, any new developments regarding pre/post market trading as well as routing options?

BTW, will the "trader order flow" feature be integrated into sspro

  10. Tauvros,

No new news re: pre-/post-/order routing.

Regarding trader order flow, that tool is scheduled to not make the migration to SS Pro.

    Thanks,
