Oh Yeah, a little video I just filmed is now featured on the front page of MSN Money!!! http://moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp http://video.msn.com/v/us/fv/money/fv.htm??t=s219 Scroll down to videos!
Glad to see this thread starting to finally die. No one really cares anymore. Timmay is a flash in the pan and is going to fizzle out soon enough. Talk all the trash you want, but it just makes you look more stupid in the end, as there will be a lot more words to eat than if you shut up now Timmay. But anyway, like I said....No one is going to know who Timmay is or care in the next few years. He will be just like one of those teeny bopper bands you see on MTV that get popular for a year or two then fade away. Timmay is merely inflammatory, he doesn't have anything about him that would make anyone remain interested, especially as far as the general public goes.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Timmy is his own worst enemy. He is possibly the worst public speaker I have ever seen. He is very repetitive, often stumbles over words, and many times he completely forgets the point he was trying to make. Also, did anyone else find the first clip amusing? Timmy said how it's so "beautiful" to make money shorting bad stocks and that there are so many "idiots" on Wall St.....yet his "short biased fund" has a 1.5% annual return over the last 4 years, and is DOWN 10% so far this year. That kid is the ultimate clown of snake oil.
Everytime he is on tv/video its a train wreck. I actually laughed during his "shorting" video...not sure if it was because it was entertaining, or because he is such a tool. I think we need to see Sykes/Schmuley II. Rabbi owned him in the first fight. In all honesty I cant stand hypocrits like Rabbi Schmuley and would actually like to see Timmay take his head off (tells you what I think of the religious folk).
You guys just don't get it. You can keep poking fun--that's fine--but I keep making more and more friends in the media business because what I bring to the table is honesty and entertainment. Those two qualities are severely lacking in the finance arena. My style isn't polished and I don't want it to be. The best part of all of this is I now have my own show on MSN Money to do WHATEVER I WANT so get ready, it's only just beginning...
I give you credit....you do speak your mind and dont hold back....but I am not sure that is a good thing in your case. I was being honest when I said it was entertaining....I get sick of all the CNBC hoopla and cheering when the mkt goes up, and whining by CNBC when the mkt goes down. Definitely different (and dare I complement you and say it was good) to see someone blab about the short side in a positive way. I wasnt poking fun at you...just stating what I thought I saw....you throwing a piece of paper like a girl. Isnt necessarily a bad thing.....I am sure there are guys out there who pee sitting down all the time too.
