  1. I think I can speak for Longhorns and EPrado when I say that I can hardly wait to get all the info so I can accurately judge you . I mean, who cares about all this market volatility and trading action.

I really have been unable to accurately judge you so far. All I have is that you are very disrespectful to your mother, you gang up and pick on weaker roommates, and you can't make money in this great market environment (timmay is -8% YTD ), though you say you are a short seller. I need more info on you .

The little that I have seen from excerpts from his book makes me have an even lesser opinion of the guy. He is a loudmouth who is a legend in his own mind. He thinks because a bunch of his buddies who are bloggers like his book, that his book is gonna become a best seller. He is in for a rude awakening. I dont believe that the public is interested in hearing some arrogant prick talk about how he got his college roomate to move out....how he thinks girls at Tufts are ugly....and other ridiculous crap.

The fact that he did very well and now is doing horrible isnt the issue here...the issue is he is an arrogant asshole who represents what people outside of the biz think a "wall street asshole" is.

Whether his book sells 10 copies or 10 million...it doesnt change that fact.

  4. 1. I never knew or talked with any of these bloggers before I sent them my book. Many of them probly thought I was an asshole, too...

    2. You hear the bad stuff about me in my book only because I've chosen to include it in order to eventually use them to teach lessons later in the book.

For example, If you read that somebody pushed a child down in the middle of the street, of course you're gonna think he's an ass. But maybe he pushed that child down to avoid hitting a bus, but you never knew because you didn't read the entire story. Understand?

  5. So you ganged up on and tortured your old roommate because he was about to be hit by a bus?

That was very admirable of you.

So you bothered and drove your roomate out of your room because a car was about to come crashing through the door and was gonna run him over?

My apologies.....you are a good guy.

We have all done childish bullshit when we were younger....most of us tend to try and put it in the past...you seem to like to brag about it.

I know I know.......it's part of your whole story.

I am basing my opinion of you on what I saw on tv...what I have seen from your book....and you on here. Not sure what else I can base it on. Unfortuneatly the only guys who have come to your defense on here are some total fucking idiot (tudor jones idiot) and marketsurfer (who I dont think much of).

My problem is I started before daytrading really exploded...you remind me of some of the kids who came through the doors in the late 90's...made a lot of money...acted like complete assholes...then got smoked and run outta the biz......congrats on still being around though....that is an accomplishment.

  7. From timmay's "book":

"The room was barely meant for two people, let alone three, so it was extremely tight and crowded. Early on, I banded together with one of my roommates whom I liked and we planned to irritate the third roommate into leaving. We toyed with him on a daily basis using such petty tricks as subscribing his email address to pornographic websites and spraying his sheets and pillows with Windex. After a few weeks, our operation succeeded and he moved out. My roommate and I celebrated our newfound space by throwing a party for the dorm."

Now I see why about 2 of 3 in the poll say no to timmay.

  8. Have you ever actually read "Catcher in the Rye"? I'm sorry the other fluff books may be.... but YOU are NO JD Salinger...and I hardly think ANYONE had the hubris to compare ANYTHING you wrote to him.

  9. Sorry buddy, it wasn't me who said that, it was a highly respected financial author and executive director of Morgan Stanley. Like I've said a few times, you guys can criticize all you want, but 99% of the people who've read it, love it and have given me blurbs to that effect. So, feel free to say whatever you want, you're in the minority.

I mean, you had blamed the poor performance of your short fund on the strong market.

    Well, it ain't strong anymore.

So you must be up $$ on the year now ?
