  1. I have no doubts a couple thousand copies of his book might be sold. People are dumb and some dumb people read...hence The Secret being a bestseller, hence the fact that people don't believe in evolution, hence the fact that people voted for Bush twice.

Just because stupid people support other stupid people I don't really view that as any sort of victory. :D

  2. That's probably because you're one of the 3 people dumb enough to invest in his fund. :p

You never apologized to the board for misleadingly posting that blog post with Tim's spam included you idiot.

  3. Tim,

you are a sad sad sad little boy.

Stretching to make sales....looking for self-validation by having people read a book you've written.....

The thing is- if you were really trying to help people, etc...you'd actually be up front about what the book is about-plain and simple and let them make their own choice whether or not to read it- instead of pimping it to everyone and their mom, including people who aren't even in the investment world. Sad Tim, real sad.

You should look up Chick Goslin- A REAL TRADER. I have spoken to Chick many times, and he will tell you how it really is. He doesn't embellish, lie, or pimp his book out. His publisher sent out flyers back in 97 and that's about it. The man had some bad times trading- wrote a book to re-affirm his beliefs about the market...got back in the game and is making money like crazy once again. The man has been trading 30 years, so he has a right to author a book on trading. That's an honest author. He's a top notch guy. I only speak so highly of him because I learned most of what I know about trading from him....

You Tim, have no basis for what you are doing. That's all. Just a clown like all the other liars, theives, and vultures out their selling snake oil and rapacious flim flam. Humility goes a long way Tim.

  6. Surfer:

My post says nothing about whether the book will be a success or not does it? In fact by hitting all the blogs I am sure he will see nice sales.

Just claiming it is not an inefficiency of the market, just a different outlet for self-published authors who need free publicity. You do know that publishing houses also exploit free means of publicity for their books as well right?

    Re-read my post.

  7. I've been completely upfront with what my book is about---it's all my experiences, all my ups and downs, told ina brutally honest and entertaining way. I don't hide the fact that I've made many mistakes, but I choose to learn from them and now I'm trying to help others avoid them.

I don't care who reads it--traders, non-traders--there's entertainment and lessons for everyone.

I don't know how to be more honest than that. It's kinda sad that you guys have claimed that I'm dishonest.

Apparently you hide the fact- as when you push the book to all your "reviewers" all they seem to mention is the upside of your endeavors....now, me personally, if I were concerned about honesty, I would want to make sure that they touched on all aspects of the story, not just the good side....

Or, if they were too dumb to catch on to the "brutally honest" commentary of the ups and downs of the modern Nicholas Darvas Jesse Livermore that you obviously are- I would more than likely be looking for more valid opinions, since they apparently are not intelligent enough to write a proper review....

that is of course, if I were concerned with accurate representation and not marketing.....

Oh kind benevolent brutally honest sir. tis merely my humble opinion. Though none of us are market wizards like you, so don't worry about it.

See you on amazon in the review section, where the rubber meets the road.

Also, you are touting yourself as an American Success Story- why?

    Seriously, why?

What is successful about underperforming a checking account?
