  1. Oh it will be relevant. All I really would have to do in this case is paraphrase bad reviews from elsewhere......

    Hmmm....damn Timmmaaaaaaay.

You may just end up being pretty busy with all the censoring.

  3. Is it relevant to post that a guy who has returned a pathetic 1.5% over the last 4 years is writing a book about an imaginary hedge fund?

  5. I have no problem with you guys giving bad reviews, please just review the book for what its worth rather than what you think of me.

FYI, here's the latest review, comparing my book to 'The Secret'

  6. Tim you are not helping your cause here. That is not even a site of a person who even knew what a hedge fund was. And he did not compare it to the Secret so be careful.

You are taking a lot of flack here on these boards but you are setting yourself up a bit too with a review like the one you quoted above.

  7. Do you look for people even more naive and stupid than you to review your book? Seems like you just spam blogs asking people to review your book...since you hit up totally unknown people they are happy to get something for free and read your book and then give it a mediocre review which you proclaim to be wonderful.

You've got some strange idea of good reviews. Perhaps your investment in this book should force you to rename the title CYGT 2! :p

  8. why do you people care so much about this kid and his book? who gives a shit, really?

  9. Exactly! Most people have no idea what a hedge fund is or what trading is about and that's sad. I'm not going to limit this book to the investment world---I truly believe finance to be our national sport---we need to get everyone involved!!

How does ''The last time I had this same enthusiasm about a book was when I read "The Secret". not count as comparing my book to 'The Secret'? It's a direct comparison!!

Sise, how do you figure this as a mediocre review--the guy says he couldn't put it down and was shocked that he read it in all in 24 hours. Listen, I'll pay for your reading lessons, I really think you might be illterate. You should get that checked out.

You're damn right, I'm contacting tons of random blogs--this is just one of the publishing worlds many inefficiencies I've found--everyone forgets that these blogs have millions of readers. Just got a great blurb from Brian White over at BloggingStocks.com--that site gets 100k visitors/day!! Tell me how a feature review up there won't sell me a few thousand copies?

Seriously, I could be totally wrong--I admit that--but I just don't see how with all these big numbers staring at me.

  10. Yeah the reviewer knows absolutely jack shit about hedge funds, trading, etc...which is the reason he actually falls for your bullshit...he has no idea how it really works.

    aaaaaah hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Timmmaaay

Like Optioncoach said...you are really starting to set yourself up....you are starting to get really shady with your reviews and comments...which are reeeeaaaaalllly starting to stretch, to say the least. But hey, that's marketing! I'm sure the sales chart will "look great"! Who cares if it's honest right?
