  1. Yeah I agree with SiSiPuede,

This is simply entertainment.....I seriously doubt ET is a "market mover" when it comes to books.
Timm(g)ay will be very able to peddle his BS books, etc to new traders and prey on their hopes, just like any other "guru" or snake oil salesman can....with or without the help of ET. Marketing is a science, and is geared to take advantage of the ignorant. ET has no bearing on this phenomenon.

HOWEVER- if someone halfway intelligent come along and reads this thread and decides for themselves that Timm(g)ay is an ignorant dumbass.....Then I will feel as if I have done a good deed for the day.

  5. That means Tim is either...

    A) A great hitter (Unfortunately, after watching Timmy jog and play golf, I doubt he could hit a beach ball with a tennis racket).

    B) A lying douche who after many years decided to write a tell all book in an effort to financially capitalize on his past glory.

you guys need to get a grip. this book is a story about a traders story for entertainment . its not claiming to teach u how to trade. ide rather chill reading this than harry potter or some oprah booklist book. if some of you put a story or book out about your trading and fun ide pick that up to. hell if I could write or had the energy to I would do the same damn thing.

  8. You should ask Tim if it's meant to teach...according to him it is. Maybe not how to trade step by step, but apparently it's meant to teach. Would you buy a diet book written by a fat fuck? I wouldn't buy a trading book written by a guy who has barely turned a profit for the last 4 years. :D

  9. Timmay should've taken the advance.....given his monsterous mailing list of 12k interested, and an expected conversion of 1%, that's 120 units, at $30 , that's only 3600 in Revenue.

Better look at the seminar side of the business, Tim, at $2000 a head, and a conversion rate of .001, that's 24k, much more then your book, better yet, go back, take the advance, and do the seminar.

Damn....you should be paying me for this stuff. :)

  10. :p :D

I just love how the guy who says $50k swings don't phase him anymore was bragging about a $35k book advance offer like it was impressive.

It's clear to anyone with half a brain that the guy is only writing the book because he has nothing else to offer and no other courses of money-making. If he could have made money the last 4 years he would have. :D
