  2. How do you know how he attempts to depict himself in the book? Have you read it?

From what I have seen, most of the information floating around about this guy varies from place to place and his image is a creation of TV editing. Judging him based on that without giving him the opportunity to represent himself is also not the most intelligent move. He has chosen to represent himself in a book and given the circumstances, it may indeed take that many pages to properly do so.

  4. Once again, however he depicts himself in the book is how he wants to be depicted. Maybe he'll depict himself as an asshole, maybe not, I don't care. He is clearly an idiot and I am judging him by his comments on this board, his actions that I know of outside of this board, and his appearances on television.

Get it through your head, an author has total control over how they appear in a book that asks no questions back. Why the fuck would you be dumb enough to judge him based on that? Answer this one question please: Would you save your judgment of George Bush until after reading his self-published auto-biography?

If your answer is yes I'm done with you. If it's no, then realize how dumb you're being. :p

  5. In that case EPrado, I have misunderstood you. I was under the impression that this was just an all out bashing-free-for-all on both a professional and personal level. Regardless, I am still going to wait for the book before I start believing everything. His image is a creation of the media and that is something that I do not fully trust. I would like to hear what he has to say before blindly accepting what everyone else has said.

I would not. I am stating that I would take it into consideration. You cannot expect to make a well informed decision without hearing both sides of the story.

  7. Yes, I would wait. I have my notions but they are not definitive since I do not know enough of the story. I do not think most of us will for years to come.

You may or may not end up replying to this post with a bit of hostility. Just note that I will not turn this into a political discussion for a myriad of reasons, some of which I will assume you understand.

  8. I wasn't trying to turn it into a political discussion by any means. I was just trying to gauge what level of public stupidity it would take you to judge someone without reading a self-authored piece.

I guess you're more dense than I thought. Good luck in life. :p

Come on man...I am sick of hearing that it's the tv producers editing.....its the tv producer's fault. The guy is a self admitted egotistical prick. He admitted it on here.

Like I said on here earlier...either:

    1) The Tim you see on tv is the Tim in real life...an asshole.

    2) The creators of the show told him to act that way and portray himself as an asshole. If he agreed to this then he is a total schmuck.

Tim's "Wait until you read the book to judge me..I am not that person on tv" line is his attempt to get people to buy his book..thats all.
