Bob, I do not understand why it is so hard for Timmay to be "brutally honest": Sykes Amazon Quote to potential book buyers: "Yes, my hedge fund is off its highs, ....." ..."fund is off its highs"... Massive understatement! That doesn't sound like a very precise description of the Sykes/Cilantro performance over the past few years? Maybe somebody can help Tim get the facts straight! (Timmay says it is just an Amazon blog so facts do not matter, but I am sure Timmay does not want potential book buyers to fooled into believing that his Fund is successful.)
My fund is off its highs, how else should I put it? And no I've never pretended that my fund is successful, but contrary to what people like you would like everyone to believe, it's not been a failure either.
Question (?) was to Timmay. I read it (did not buy it). Worthless in every regard...entertainment, education, insight, literary quality. Now. That critique of the book CANNOT be disputed with bullshit comebacks like "you'll have to read the book", or ""you don't understand what I am trying to do", or even better "this was written for the novice to teach them and protect them". Yeah chump. Keep pulling negative reviews from amazon and then justifying it through your jacked up, overdriven, non-deserved ego. You DO NOT WANT ANY FEEDBACK THAT IS NEGATIVE NO MATTER THE CONTENT. Face it fraud. Play PENNY STOCKS with a "hedge fund" you idiot. What a Piece of Shit.
Thanks for your opinion, just be sure to not contradict any facts from the book in any of your reviews and you'll be good to go.
Why so brief timmay? You are so verbose on the other thread, but so quiet here! Is there something about this thread that you don't like? Something you hope will go away. Yes, you now want to pollute ET with new headlines like "sykes in financial times" to bolster your image. Pure snake oil sykes!
Sykes Amazon quote: "fund is off its highs" : that purposely vague euphemism understates the fact you are down over -37% during 2006-07; so maybe you could say that: "unfortunately Fund investors have lost over -37% during 2006-07, but we hope to do better..".
