Tim, I understand your desire to defend yourself. It is a natural response that any of us would engage in. And you will note that I have not ever commented on your trading acumen one way or the other. However, your mantra of "read my book and then you'll see" is a tad disingenuous. As you well know, for any of your detractors to read your book they would have to spend the money to buy it, a portion of which proceeds would then go into your pocket. You would then have the last laugh regardless of the validity of either party's argument. I can't blame you for your "defense" tactic, but let's call it for what it is: an effort to sell more books. And so it goes...
I understand your point, but I'm not legally allowed to comment on certain points right now. The book has been vetted by my lawyers so that's why I refer everybody to it. And trust me, getting all 7 or so of my haters to buy my book isn't gonna make me that much money LOL
Well, that's because your missing the real market; You gotta get yourself on oprah, sell it as an "emotional " journey, know what i mean? Oprah would love this stuff. You want sales, its oprah......and it's an "emotional" angle. Trust me Many wouldn't.
I'm not sure I quite follow your logic. People argue with you and you respond by telling them to read your book so they will know the facts. I commented that their reading the book means that they have to buy it first, which is an author's goal: to sell his book. HOWEVER, you respond that you are presently not allowed to comment on certain points. BUT, if the book answers the questions posed, as you say it does, then why would your lawyers not allow you to comment on those very points which have already been published? Surely you can understand my confusion.
Think of it like a CEO making formal statements in a press release. That way there's no way to misinterpret to what they're saying--this is the same thing. I don't want to be misinterpreted either so I refer you to my press release, which is a 70,000 word book. This point isn't about book sales, this is about getting the right message out. You gotta remember, most of the inspiration for writing this book was because I was getting tired of copying and pasting my answers to the same questions over and over. WSW left a lot to the imagination so I figured the easiest way to answer everybody would be to tell me entire story so there'd be no more confusion. I'm sure there will be questions after people read the story, but at least they'll have a primer for where I'm coming from.
I noticed that Timmay is having negative reviews deleted on Amazon. Let's just say that his actual review score would be strikingly similar to what the poll results are on this thread...but on Amazon, he can manipulate the results..so don't be fooled...watch and see for yourself...
I find it interesting that Millionaire Traders has no reviews yet even though it is #731 in sales and Timmay already has so many "reviews" for his book.
Almost would lead one to believe the game is rigged somehow....but Timmay is brutally honest and he would never do such a thing of course! He is here to cut through all the Bullship, not create more of it! In swahili, the word Timmay actually means Integrity...
I had the reviews removed because they fell outside the guidelines of Amazon. You can only request reviews be removed, Amazon has the final say. Thats because that other book didn't have 150+ pre-release blurbs. Glad you finally understand.
You are a disgrace Timmay!! What guidelines are these? That they didn't contain 5 stars? The bad reviews deserve to be there just as much as the good ones. The good reviews are all 2 sentences and contain no specifics, so why aren't they deleted Pinocchio???i
