  1. Dude, I'm here to get the word out about my book because I believe in it. When people who haven't read it are trash talking about it, you're damn right I'm gonna be on guard 24/7 to make sure people know the facts. It's called dedication and my haters are in for quite a surprise if they think that I'm gonna let say whatever they want without defending myself with the truth.

Tim. I gotta agree with Surdo. All you are doing is adding fuel to the fire to all the "haters" by coming on here. It doesnt look good for you as an author to be spending every minute on here defending your book. By coming on here all the time it's like you are agreeing with them. I doubt any "big time" authors spend any time trolling the internet looking to shoot down their critics. Accept the fact that some will love your book..some will hate it......but what you are doing on here is not helping your cause. I would imagine if you didnt react to every negative post, that some of the negativeness would go away on here.

  3. It appears there is so much "hate" on these threads, maybe reconsider "where" you are getting the word out?

And there are also many posts with opinions who have read the book (or enough to make an honest opinion).

As I said, the book does nothing for me, but I'm probably not the demographic you are looking for, ha!

Tim I just saw this on Amazon. Is ridiculous.

"Timothy Sykes- Initial post Dude, read the book before you comment. If you had, you'd see I made money in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2003, and 2005. So don't come on here and try claiming I only made money during the bubble. What is it with all you haters--did I steal your girlfriend or something? If you don't like the book after you read it, fine, but don't come on here and lie, this isn't Dealbreaker or ET. "

Going on Amazon and attacking anyone who criticizes your book will be a huge downfall for you. Makes you look real bad man. Telling people who give you a thumbs down that "they havent read the book" is ridiculous. What about all the reviewers who gave you a thumbs up.....they actually did read it ? Your age is really coming out here man.....acting like a child. Let the public buy the book...let them review it.....see what happens.....I am telling you, your act is gonna hurt you in the long run.

  5. Thanx for trying to tell me what looks good and doesn't. to get the word out, authors, especially self-published authors, start from the ground up, and that's what I'm doing. One or two idiots are going around reposting their ET messages on EVERY SINGLE WEBSITE MY BOOK IS MENTIONED. So, I am going to react.

I have no problem with people not liking the book or even hating it, but the hate messages have nothing to do with the book--these people or this person hates me for my recent losses and my personality. That's fine also, but when these people or this person makes assumptions that my book will not be any good, they/he is crossing the line.

After all some of the best trading books have been written by people who have lost everything! forget about a 35% drawdown, Livermore, Curtis Faith, and Neiderhoffer have all lost 100% of their capital. By that standard, I'm not doing so badly. There are lessons in losses so once you read the book and discover how I lost that 35%, you'll understand me and my book's purpose a whole lot better.

  6. The guy said I only made money in 1999-2001. That is incorrect. This was also his first post EVER on Amazon. He clearly did not read the book. When you have a band of haters terrorizing you and your life's work, then you'll understand. Until then, sit back and watch because these haters have seriously underestimated me.

Whatever man.....all I am saying is anyone outside of ET (who doesnt know what you are doing on here) who goes to Amazon and sees you attacking negative reviewers is gonna have serious doubts about you and your book....thats all.

  8. You might be right, but I have to protect myself. anyway, you don't start a publishing company called BullShip Press and expect to make friends with everybody

  9. The majority of your "positive" responses are 1st time posters. Did your ego overide that key little point. Of course it ididn't. Your mirror is distorted.

edit: By the way, I'm not a "hater", but from your responses anyone without glowing comments must be.

    shame.
